Santiago de Compostela was the supreme goal for countless pious pilgrims who converged there from all over Europe throughout the Middle Ages. To reach Spain pilgrims had to pass through France. On their way from Europe they have opened many routes coming from the North, the East or the South. The most renowned of these routes in France on the Unesco Heritage List, is the Puy Route departing from Le Puy en Velay.

Thank you for reading about the simple lives of the developmentally disabled in the United States. If you did not look at St. Louis Center, I would not have seen this beautiful photo journal. I dream of someday making my way to Compostela. I will check back soon.
