In 1931 an ambassador from Cadillac came on a visit to Cadillac, Michigan, U.S.A. and was treated to a dinner, concert, and gave a speech interpreted by the French liaison to Chicago. Our museum has the menu, program and table placard with names and dates. It would be fun to revive the honor.

What beautiful photos of a magnificent area ! I had never heard of a town called “Cadillac” and honestly, between a ride in a Cadillac, and a walk in the area, along the vineyards, I would choose the second option. Wonderful post, thank you.

Cycling certainly has lots of benefits doesn’t it and i guess you see a lot more when you cycle rather than drive.

Yes definitely. You can see more, hear more and smell the perfumes of Nature. You can stop when you want, you ride on quiet roads, have a break on a café terrace when you need, at your own pace ! Thank you for the comment. Cécile
