Bonnieux ( Provence ) in winter light…..
What we call ” Luberon ” is in reality a small, low mountainous massif dotted with numerous charming perched villages wher the Provençal Art of Living is authentic and vivid and where it seems that time has stopped for years even if local traditions and culture are still strongly anchored in this small part of Provence. Oh how I really wish one day I could do this, Lea.
Perhaps I’ll take longer than the slotted time since will be so many stops for taking pictures.

Love it. I’ve been there about three years ago and have a bunch of photographs with almost the same motives. 🙂 Bonnieux is a pleasant counterpart of Lacoste.

What fabulous old buildings. Beautiful pictures of landscapes and a culture that is so vastly different to mine!

Yes, really different certainly. Luberon massif is a lively gem with lots of villages unchanged for years but still inhabited. These pictures have been taken in winter but the light is always beautiful in all seasons. Thank you for your comment. Cécile

Love the colors, the tile roofs, the stonework, the terraced streets – and even a feline subject in one of the photos. Gorgeous!
