Cantobre is a small medieval village perched on top of a 100 m cliff, in the heart of the National Park of the Grands Causses, in a wild, well-preserved nature . The Cevennes are now on the World Unesco Heritage list. One thousand years ago Cantobre was already inhabited . Take a stroll around the cobbled streets and breathe the pure air of the place.

Beautiful and full of charm! Love the one of a closeup of a courtyard. We love to bike and hike (I am scared of heights so can’t do steep slopes) and make biking trips to various cities in the US (next San Francisco) – This summer we will do our first one in Europe (Germany). France is now definitely on my list.

Beautiful village. The view is amazing. But shouldn’t be easy to ride a bike up to the mountain… I loved all photographs, almost made me feel as if I was there. Just I wondered the inside of these historical village houses, and hotel, cafe, etc. Thank you, love, nia
