The village of Chablis, Northwestern Burgundy, has given its name to one of the most famous French white wines. Chablis is made with Chardonnay, a grape that grows easily in the region.
Monks from the Abbey of Pontigny were the first to plant Chardonnay grapes here on the slopes surrounding the River Serein,realising that the microclimate in this area, with its cold spring was essential for the dry, honey-scented flavour of the wine. Hello my friend! I am always amaze by the sharpness of your pictures. You never cease to deliver go quality pictures. What camera and technique do you use? It is obvious that you do not do much post processing. Perhaps none at all.

Thank you. I only have a compact Sony HX 50. I sometimes reframe some of them but no real post processing. I am glad you like them. That’s my pleasure.
