Cancale is considered as the jewel of the Emerald Coast just in front of the Saint Michel Mount Bay. This place has a great sailing tradition. The fishermen used to leave their city during 7 months to join Terre Neuve and come back with their boats filled with cod.

 From Brittany to Normandy, this biking tour starts in Saint Malo along one of the most beautiful coast of Brittany, the Emerald Coast. Cancale lies along the coast to the east of Saint-Malo.   It is a picturesque popular fishing port renowned as the “oyster capital” of Brittany. Though a small town, but with a  large number of seafood restaurants.
