La Ciotat is typical fishermen port behind the calanques and the Cap Canaille, not far from Cassis but with a complete different atmosphere, less turistic and attractive than its neighbour but nonetheless authentic and pleasant. In this town the Cinema is born with the Brothers Lumière and the film called “the train arriving in La Ciotat”
