Pommard is a city in Burgundy, Eastern France, famous for its Côte de Beaune wine production.

This village is located near Beaune along the “Route des Grands Crus”.

For foreigners, Pommard is an easy name  to remember, it may be one of the reasons why it became a famous market place. 130,000 cases produced from 337 hectares makes it the second major area of production after Beaune. 135 hectares dedicated to Premier Cru like Les Epenots and Les Rugiens .
